Magnetic Recording Solutions, Inc. (MRS) was originally founded in 1997to develop a new generation of advanced media certifiers. In November of 2010, MRS HDD components test products and related assets were aquired by Xyratex Inc. Since its original founding, MRS has focused on development of core competencies to provide production test products that offer the lowest possible Cost of Ownership (COO) while meeting process capability requirements with industry leading technical solutions.

Today, MRS has demonstrated expertise in:

• System design of complex mechanical, electronic, magnetic and optical systems with software control for production applications
• Sophisticated yet simple and low cost methods for ultra precise positioning and motion control for multiple fibers and/or devices
• Super low noise control and imaging circuitry for Electron Beam equipment
