For almost two decades, the engineering team at Magnetic Recording Solutions, Inc. has been delivering innovative cost-effective manufacturing and testing solutions for leading edge data storage and semiconductor equipment companies worldwide -- with products that range from hard drive media certification equipment to sophisticated process control and test modules used in semiconductor wafer inspection tools.

MRS engineers in Santa Clara and Asia work directly with customers to develop new test requirements that will drive equipment design and contribute to their competitive advantage. Our primary focus is the design and manufacture of advanced process control and yield management equipment for the data storage industry. The MRS engineering team is largely responsible for much of the industryıs US made production test capacity in use today ‹ namely systems for media certification, burnishing, and glide testing.
